Siterra Takes Giant Leap Forward with New Release Set for Wireless Carrier Beta Test

Site management solution leader adds key asset and lease functionality, on-demand configurability, rich connectivity, a streamlined user interface, a powerful 5X performance boost and more

NOVATO, Calif. — September 15, 2006 — Siterra Corporation, the leading innovator of information management solutions for wireless cell site lifecycle management, raised its own longstanding product high bar with the introduction of a significant new version of its software ready for beta testing by wireless carriers.

"The latest version of our Site Management System (SMS), code named Apollo, marks its transition to a more compelling platform that enables clients to access new lease and financial asset modules, configure the system on-demand, navigate with greater ease and access information up to five times faster compared to the previous release," boasts Bobby Jadhav, Siterra's Chief Technology Officer. "With our move to a more robust, scalable and capable architecture, our clients can get more of what they want on demand with far less dependency on us, yielding a more productive and lower cost solution. And it's only the beginning of what's to come."

For wireless customers with rapidly evolving business needs based on addressing new markets, managing multiple collocation clients, absorbing mergers and establishing new work processes, Siterra has met the growing challenge of keeping pace with their demands. "Opening the door to enable customers to gain control of configurability and access greater functionality will be a welcome benefit to our current customers. It will also serve to attract wireless companies who currently overload their own IT resources, compelling them to rethink their strategy for site lifecycle management," declared Jadhav.

Siterra's major advancements are based on fusing proven technology already used to manage thousands of sites among customers of its Real Estate Management System including the nation's leading retailers and Fortune 500 companies, with more advanced features, eliminating typical concerns of early adoption. New features include global text search of any database item or content contained in any stored document, an interactive AJAX-based (Web 2.0) user interface that updates Web page content without manual refreshes, a highly configurable workflow, GIS integration for instant site mapping, a platform that delivers unlimited scalability and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that enables convenient data exchange with customer and third party systems.

Siterra will soon announce a roster of new customers who will use the improved software along with selected beta testers who have expressed their enthusiasm during recent private unveilings. Testing among wireless players is expected to begin next month and will continue through November. A general software release, which will likely include additional product features, is anticipated later this year with further advancements slated for 2007.
