Siterra Business Intelligence Debuts at CTIA

Siterra Enterprise Reporting Module Improves Cell Site ROI through Informed Decision Making

CTIA Wireless 2005, NEW ORLEANS — March 14, 2005 — Siterra Corporation, the leading provider of software solutions for geographically dispersed real estate assets, unveiled Siterra Business Intelligence (SBI) at CTIA today, which enables wireless carriers, tower companies and wireless service providers to make more accurate business decisions about how cell site assets and retail stores are utilized. The hosted solution is available immediately from Siterra.

"Siterra Business Intelligence enables cell tower and retail store owners to increase the return on their assets by leveraging critical data about the sites individually and collectively," said Molly Hemmeter, VP of Strategy and Marketing of Siterra Corporation. "Senior executives in the wireless industry are being forced to make very critical, strategic decisions about how to manage their cell site portfolios and retail stores going forward. SBI provides executives access to the data and analytics they require to make these critical decisions with confidence."

SBI is the knowledge component of the Siterra Site Management System (SMS), a powerful Web-based system that manages real estate assets throughout their entire lifecycle. SMS integrates all data, documents and photos for all site attributes, projects, leases and equipment into a single, accurate source of information. Using SMS, major players in the wireless industry are gathering millions of data points on their asset portfolios.

To leverage the power of this centralized SMS database, Siterra Business Intelligence (SBI) delivers robust reporting and analytics via an intuitive user interface. It enables employees to work more efficiently and to make more effective decisions. SBI provides an industrial strength BI platform and a user-friendly interface that is seamless with the rest of the Site Management System, creating low barriers to user acceptance. A single, unified datamart centralizes metadata, security and user profiles, ensuring all reports and analyses emanate from a single, accurate source of information.

SBI incorporates a large number of reporting styles to meet the needs of all types of users within the organization. For example, it analyzes and displays dashboards and scorecards for senior level executives. SBI also provides more detailed views. Managers and analysts can slice-and-dice data for root cause analyses and to create print-perfect reports that can be leveraged by the entire organization. The solution is flexible enough to deliver targeted reporting for a single department or scale to meet the reporting requirements for an entire organization.

SBI comprises two products: Siterra Business Intelligence Reporter and Siterra Business Intelligence Analyst. SBI Analyst can generate a broad, two-dimensional data set from which users can create and save multiple, specific reports for access among all SBI users. This advanced functionality is made possible by the extraction of a defined data set into a high performance data cube for "on-the-fly" data manipulation. In addition to modifying report attributes and saving reports, SBI Analyst users can perform root cause analyses and spreadsheet-like calculations from within the Siterra user interface as well as export data to Excel, CSV and HTML file formats.

SBI Reporter enables users to run predefined reports against a client-specific datamart, empowering them with the current, accurate information they need to perform their jobs more efficiently. Users can sort and filter the output data, perform simple drill downs, and print formatted reports all directly from the SMS user interface.
